SM group turns over 104th school building

SM Prime turned over a fully furnished two-storey school building to President Manuel Roxas Memorial Integrated School-South in Roxas City.

SMFI’s 104th school building, built to DepEd specifications, has four classrooms, each with desks, chairs for left-handed students, toilets, and a special toilet for PWDs. It also has concave blackboards, electric fans, LED lighting, and emergency lights.

SM Foundation installed a handwashing facility to help enhance the community’s health and safety. SM group will help with the maintenance and upkeep of the school.

SM Foundation believes in the power of education in uplifting communities and has been an active member of DepEd’s Adopt-a-School Program since 2002, turning over more than 100 school buildings nationwide.
