Likewise, the St. Paul School of Business and Law has also become a partner school of SM Foundation recently for courses in business, particularly accounting.

Two other schools are also partners of SM Foundation in Leyte: the University of the Philippines in Tacloban for General and Science Courses and the Leyte Normal University for Education courses.

SM Foundation scholars get free tuition for 4-5 year college courses in partner schools and universities. Scholars also get monthly allowances. In places where there are malls, scholars can work part-time during summer and Christmas breaks to augment their allowances. Upon graduation, SM opens a job fair for graduates although scholars may opt to work elsewhere. To date, 1,900 students have availed of this program.

Aside from college scholarship, SM Foundation also supports students taking Technical-Vocational courses in partnership with Punlaan School and Don Bosco Makati Technical Institute.
