Continuously promoting the health and wellness of communities, SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI) conducted medical missions in Padre Garcia and Nasugbu, Batangas, on November 29 and December 1, 2022, respectively.
Over 400 residents received free medical and dental check-ups and various tests, such as x-ray, random blood sugar tests, cholesterol tests, and uric acid tests.
During the medical mission in Nasugbu, Pascual Laboratories, Inc. gave free vitamins and other supplements that help in digestion and management of blood sugar and cholesterol levels, especially among adult patients.
Also joining SMFI in spreading social good through health and wellness are volunteer medical professionals, Batangas local government unit employees, SM Development Corporation (SMDC), Manila Southcoast Development Corporation (MSDC), and Summer Hills Development.
Through its Health and Medical Programs, SMFI upgrades public health centers in its host communities, complemented by its medical caravans across the country. To date, it has renovated more than 170 health and wellness centers and served more than 1 million patients during its medical missions.
