SM Foundation extends healthcare reach with Taytay medical mission

SM Foundation’s health and medical programs team lead the dispensing of free medicines.

SM Foundation, the social good arm of the SM Group, recently held a medical mission at Taytay Kalayaan Park, further expanding its healthcare initiatives for vulnerable communities.

With SM City Taytay employee-volunteers and other social good partners, the foundation delivered over 800 medical services—from medical consultations and dental checkups to X-ray imaging, ECGs, blood tests, and free medicine. The mission also included the SM Foundation's newest mobile clinic, enhancing the foundation's capacity to provide quality healthcare services in diverse locations. 

The medical mission features the new mobile clinic, making free healthcare service more accessible and comfortable for patients.

This activation follows the SM Foundation's long-term strategy of promoting preventive healthcare and improving access to medical services in various communities in the country.

Since its inception, the SM Foundation has rolled out over 1,600 medical missions as part of its sustained efforts in community health outreach. 

The recent medical mission was capped successfully with its social good partners Taytay LGU, DSWDm, Region 4A-Willore Pharmaceutical, and MX3 Natural Supplements.

The medical mission provided over 800 medical services with the help of volunteer healthcare professionals and SM City Taytay employees.
