Known as the “Oscars” of the public relations industry and a symbol of excellence in PR, the Anvil Award is presented to an outstanding public relations tool or program that has met the high standards set in each category. The PRSP’s Anvil Awards received more than 420 entries for validation in 2014 from companies, organizations, and agencies nationwide.
“SM Foundation’s initiatives have always been the SM Group’s vehicle to reach out to people and communities,” said Linda Atayde, SM Foundation’s Executive Director for Education. “Through the Foundation’s programs, SM will continue to be a catalyst for sustained growth by creating opportunities rather than by simply providing.”
In addition to the two Anvil Awards received by SM Foundation, SM Investments Corporation, SM Group’s holding company, also received a Silver Anvil Award for SMIC’s 2013 Unified Annual Reports, its entry in Anvil Awards’ publication category in PR tools.
