SM Foundation bags three PH Quill Awards
SM Foundation (SMFI) recently received honors and recognition at the recent 19th Philippine Quill Awards.
A total of three Merit awards were bestowed to SM Foundation—for its exemplary communications strategies and efforts under three categories namely Social Media, Writing, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Philippine Quill is the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication. It has been bestowing the seal of approval to the most reputable organizations and corporations in the nation for almost two decades, emphasizing the use of excellent communication to achieve business goals, and to make a difference in society.

SMFI executive director Debbie P. Sy expressed her gratitude for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines for the said awards: “Thank you, IABC, for recognizing our social development efforts. At SMFI, we believe that corporate social responsibility paired with development communications would certainly go a long way. Aside from communicating our social good stories to the public, we also hope to spark kindness in the hearts of other individuals and organizations – moving them to also spread social good in their respective communities.”
