SM Foundation aids Typhoon Aghon affected communities

SM Group, through the collaboration of SM Foundation and SM Supermalls, has provided relief to communities affected by Typhoon Aghon in Laguna and Quezon provinces through its Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) initiative.

The foundation distributed a total of 1,265 relief packs across several barangays. 

SM City San Pablo provided relief to 500 typhoon-hit families to San Rafael, San Roque, San Nicolas, and SM Toda communities. SM City Calamba gave 110 Kalinga Packs to Barangay Uno and Barangay Real. SM City Lucena, meanwhile, aided 655 families in Barangay Dalahican.

OPTE is a social good program of SM Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets. To date, it has distributed over 800,000 kalinga pack to help address the needs of communities during calamities and crises
