SM bags five awards, including best CSR
SM Investments Corporation (SMIC) won five awards during the Alpha Southeast Asia’s 5th Annual Southeast Asia Institutional Investor Corporate Awards including Best Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility for its development arm, SM Foundation.
SMIC Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jose T. Sio (1st photo, left) named Best Chief Finance Officer in the Philippines for the fourth time in a row. SMIC Senior Vice President for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Cora Guidote (2nd photo, left) received the awards Most Organized Investor Relations, Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support, Most Consistent Dividend Policy and Best Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility, on behalf of SM. With them is Siddiq Bazarwala, CEO and Publisher of Alpha Southeast Asia.
Aside from this, SM clinched awards for Most Organized Investor Relations for the fifth year in a row as well as Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support. SMIC was also cited for having the Most Consistent Dividend Policy among other Philippine-based companies.

The awards presentation was held last September 1, 2015 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Results were based on tallied votes among 520 investors and analysts across the region, in US and in Europe.
