Serving 300 patients daily, the health center caters to the medical and wellness needs of 67,063 residents from 36 barangays in the surrounding area of Cavite. The health center also houses the City Health Office which heads 32 nearby Barangay Health Stations.

The Indang Main Health Center is accredited for Philhealth services such as Primary Care Benefit Package, Maternity Care Package and the Tuberculosis Directly-Observed Treatment Short-course (TB-DOTS) Package. Currently, the health center is also applying for accreditation to carry the Animal Bite Treatment Package.

“The reconstruction of the Indang Main Health Center strengthens its capability as a Philhealth accredited health institution,” said Connie Angeles, SM Foundation Executive Director for Health. “By providing them with new tools and creating an environment that is conducive for healing, these health centers can help decongest hospitals thereby improving quality of life through accessible and quality health service in a community setting.”

The newly-renovated health center includes a furnished laboratory, dental room, treatment area, consultation area, family planning room, prenatal/postnatal room, birthing area, immunization area, cold chain storage area, a TB-DOTS area and a Felicidad T. Sy Wellness Center for Children and the Elderly.

The Indang Main Health Center is SM Foundation’s 103rd modernized health center since 2002.
