SM Foundation, partners welcome 1st batch of apprenticeship program graduates

SM Foundation, together with its social good partners, recently presented the 1st batch of graduates on National Certificate (NC) training program for Customer Service under its SM Asensong Pinoy Program.

The said program is in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), SM Supermalls, and SM Markets. The training intends to strengthen the qualifications of the Filipino workforce and ultimately address various employment issues in the customer service sector.

The successful graduates underwent technical, values formation, and hands on training for 112 days. They also received a minimum wage allowance, an accident insurance coverage, and free NCIl assessment in the duration of their training. All the 18 apprenticeship graduates are immediately employed by SM Markets.
